Now that you know what you want to be and you have a plan, the next thing you need is to determine the resources you need. Your focus should be on the talents and skills that a master builder needs to come up with what you have planned. These will then open the way and usher you into the presence of the great.
Natural skills and talents
These are natural abilities that are inborn and can be sharpened by use. So you look at things you are exceptionally good at. When you know them, build a plan on how you will develop them to be better. The general rule here is usually that “the more you use them, the better they become and the higher they reward you.
Acquired skills
In addition to the natural skills and talents, you should consider those that you may have to acquire. The acquired skills will be broken into two: soft skills are traits that make you equip you to relate with yourself and others as you work on what you are building these include things like organization, communication, collaboration, and leadership. On the other hand, there are hard skills that you get through education or on-the-job training. For both of them, you will need someone else to pass them to you.
